I'm working with one of the UK's fastest-growing consumer brands — a social-first business that has generated over a billion organic views and built a genuine following through short-form video content alone. They're not looking for someone to maintain what's already working. They're looking for someone to take it to the next level.
The team is already self-sufficient and performing well. What they need now is a strategic lead who can sit above it, spot what's working, double down on winners, build the processes, and help them hit some serious view targets in 2026.
This will suit you if:
- You have a proven track record driving millions of views on short-form video content built from scratch — not repurposed clips, not content with a built-in audience.
- You think diagnostically about content — you're always asking why something worked and how to replicate it.
- You've worked at a viral content company, a social-first brand or a high-output content studio and know what good looks like at scale.
- You're as comfortable in a spreadsheet analysing performance as you are in a creative brainstorm.
- You want to lead a team, not just be a great individual contributor.
What you'd be doing:
- Overseeing a small team across content creation and video editing.
- Setting creative direction — identifying winning hooks, formats and angles and building them into repeatable systems.
- Owning the view targets for the channel portfolio.
- Building the processes that turn great individual content into a scalable content engine.
- Feeding performance signals into paid and partner marketing teams.
- Hiring and growing the team as the function scales.
What we're looking for:
- A genuine track record of driving millions of views in short-form video — this is non-negotiable.
- Experience in or around viral content at scale — pure-play content companies, social-first brands, high-output studios.
- Leadership experience or clear, demonstrable confidence managing and developing people.
- AI-native working style — not just aware of the tools, actively using them.
- High agency — someone who creates their own processes rather than waiting to be told.
What's in it for you?
This is a brand that has built something genuinely impressive on social already. The content team is talented and largely self-sufficient — your job is to elevate it, not fix it. Real ownership, real creative freedom, and a very clear commercial mandate. Flat structure, fast pace, best idea wins. Very in-person, very collaborative.
Practical bits: Central London, 4 days per week in office. Salary dependent on experience and open to conversation for the right candidate.
