A leading creative agency is looking for an experienced Strategy Director to lead brand and communications strategy for a major consumer brand across the UK and global markets. This is a senior-level contract role sitting at the heart of a high-profile, fast-moving account, working closely with senior clients and agency leadership.
You’ll be responsible for shaping end-to-end comms planning and brand strategy, grounding creative thinking in strong strategic insight, and ensuring work is driven by both quantitative and qualitative evidence.
Key responsibilities:- Lead brand and communications strategy for a major consumer brand across UK and global markets
- Own end-to-end comms planning across multiple channels and touchpoints
- Translate complex data and research into clear, inspiring strategic direction
- Work closely with creative, client service and global teams to drive best-in-class output
- Partner with senior client stakeholders, influencing and challenging where needed
- Use quantitative and qualitative insight to inform strategy, evaluation and optimisation
- Proven experience operating as a Strategy Director or Senior Strategist within a leading creative or integrated agency
- Strong background in brand strategy and communications planning
- Hands-on experience working with both quantitative and qualitative research
- Confident working on large, complex, global brands
- Comfortable operating at senior client level
- Available to start at short notice
- Contract: Inside IR35
- Duration: 3 months +
- Rate: £500–£600 per day
- Location: London – 3 days per week in the office
