Propel is partnering with one of the UK's most recognisable consumer brands to find a Senior CRM Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. This role is with a major consumer brand that has a loyal customer base and a CRM programme operating at genuine scale.
The marketing team is fast-paced, collaborative, and commercially driven, consisting of people who care about doing things properly. The CRM function is in great shape with a stable team, strong culture, and real investment in the programme. They are looking for the right senior leader to carry it forward.
- Own the end-to-end CRM strategy and delivery calendar across email, SMS, and direct mail.
- Lead segmentation, targeting, and personalisation for a large, complex customer database.
- Drive ROI-accountable promotions and BAU performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Manage and develop a team of six, including a CRM Manager, Senior Exec, and Executives.
- Act as the primary CRM partner to Trading, Merchandising, and Ecommerce.
Requirements:
- Senior CRM experience from a fast-paced consumer environment – retail, gambling, FMCG, subscription, or similar.
- Hands-on with ESP platforms (ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong data and segmentation skills – comfortable in the detail.
- Experience in CRM within a consumer-facing setting.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
Location: West Midlands (south of Birmingham, most easily accessed by car).
Salary: up to £65,000 + car allowance.
