As the IT Director here, you will play a key role alongside the leadership team to ensure the ongoing success of the IT function. You will oversee and own integrations and upgrades as well as manage the IT Infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set the direction, build the team, and roll up your sleeves when it matters. You will partner closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and Data to ensure our systems talk to each other seamlessly and that our technology enables — rather than constrains — the business.
Responsibilities
- Set the IT strategy and lead the IT function in a hands-on leadership role.
- Oversee and own integrations and upgrades and manage the IT infrastructure.
- Build and lead the IT team, and roll up your sleeves when it matters.
- Partner closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and Data to ensure systems communicate effectively and enable the business.
Ideal Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role (Head of IT, IT Director, or equivalent).
- Deep expertise in systems integration and upgrades.
- Experience with ERP or CRM implementations (e.g. HubSpot, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365).
- Track record of successfully delivering technology modernisation or digital transformation programmes.
- Experience in a scale-up, PE-backed, or high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and SaaS ecosystems.
- Experience managing multi-vendor technology environments and complex procurement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial acumen — able to build and defend business cases for technology investment.
Bonus Points: If you have worked in environments moving from inhouse systems to established systems this would be a big plus but not essential!
