A high-growth B2C services business is undergoing a major transformation to rebuild how it acquires, engages, and serves customers. With CEO-level backing and significant investment into marketing, data, and digital, they are building a highly technical, insight-led marketing function from the ground up. They are now hiring a Marketing Analyst to help establish the analytics foundations that will power commercial decision‑making across the organisation. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage, shape how data is used across marketing and revenue teams, and have genuine influence on strategy and spend. This role is suited to someone who thrives in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments and enjoys building systems, not just maintaining them.
This business is operating in a retail‑style, weekly trading environment with significant marketing investment across digital and broadcast channels. The marketing function is intentionally being built lean, hands‑on, and highly technical, with a strong bias to action and practical problem solving. The Marketing Analyst will work closely with marketing, performance, CRM, product, and data teams to connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes, automate reporting, and build insight frameworks that senior leadership rely on. You will be encouraged to challenge assumptions, move quickly, and help define how analytics is embedded across the business.
The Role
- Build dashboards, forecasts, and reporting frameworks to support weekly trading and executive performance reviews
- Analyse marketing and commercial data across multiple channels and customer journeys
- Identify performance trends and investigate root causes across acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Support attribution, incrementality testing, and econometric modelling as media investment scales
- Develop automated reporting and scalable data pipelines to improve speed and accuracy
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a commercial mindset
- Experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, commercial analytics, or agency analytics
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, Tableau, or similar
- Experience building dashboards, forecasts, and reporting frameworks
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments with high ownership and autonomy
Benefits
- Competitive salary with performance‑based bonus
- Hybrid working model, with 3 days per week in a Maidenhead office
- Significant career progression as the marketing and analytics function scales
- Opportunity to build analytics capability from the ground up and influence senior leadership decisions
- Exposure to large‑scale media investment and advanced measurement frameworks
- Pension, holiday allowance, and additional corporate benefits
Why This Role?
This is a genuinely greenfield analytics opportunity inside a business with real scale and ambition. You will be joining a leadership team that values speed, clarity, and hands‑on problem solving, and you will have the chance to shape how marketing and commercial decisions are made for years to come. If you enjoy building, iterating, and working close to the commercial engine of a business, this role offers a rare level of ownership and impact.
