About the role

Reporting to the CTO, you’ll act as our Data Protection Officer (DPO), taking a hands‑on approach to GDPR compliance, customer assurance, and internal operational practices. This is a practical, delivery‑focused role where you’ll work closely with teams across the business to embed strong data protection standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead data protection activities and act as DPO
  • Manage GDPR documentation (RoPA, DPIAs, data mapping)
  • Oversee data subject requests (SARs, erasure, correction)
  • Support internal compliance reviews and training
  • Partner with Sales & Customer Success on client assurance
  • Liaise with the ICO and support regulatory requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in data protection or compliance
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and ICO guidance
  • Hands-on experience managing SARs and compliance documentation
  • Familiarity with ISO audit processes
  • Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or BCS DP Practitioner
