From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Senior Underwriter to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

As a Senior Underwriter , you will evaluate, analyse, and approve credit proposals, and revisions to underwritten transactions. You will have underwriting authority across all core origination channels including banking partners, accounting partners, vendor partners, brokers, and direct to customer relationships.
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed Credit Reviews and sanction Asset Finance transactions up to a personal credit underwriting mandate limit. This mandate will include hard and soft assets.
- Analyse and provide recommendations on transactions being presented to the Transactional Credit Committee
- Contribute to Watch List / Business Support List compilation and participate in appropriate forums
- Have responsibility for reviewing and recommending changes to Credit Policy in terms of risk appetite for asset classes & asset types, products, and terms of lending.
- Have responsibility for reviewing recommendations from Business Support and Collections teams in terms of actions on stressed assets including those in work-out and recoveries
- Effective Stakeholder management and communication with Sales stakeholders – ensuring SLAs for deal decisions are managed
