Now, more than 20 years on, Propel has grown to become one of the UK’s largest, independent finance houses. We have continued to deliver leading-edge finance solutions through a unique combination of teamwork and technology.

From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Partnership Manager to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

Our aim is to take the service we offer to the next level, to push the boundaries of what’s available, and to create great customer experiences consistent with our values. Does that sound like something you’d like to be part of?

As a Partnership Manager, you will play a crucial role in the continued development of our relationship with our partner, and their Business Banking customers, as their go-to Asset Finance provider. This is a strategic partnership, and your role will be to work hand in glove with our partner and their Relationship Managers to drive Asset Finance referrals. You may be educating teams on asset finance products, you may be networking at events, you may be reviewing their customer portfolios to identify sales opportunities – all with the aim to driving asset finance introductions. These introductions are then managed through to paid completion by our field sales team. It’s a varied role, and it comes with pace, and a huge opportunity.

Role responsibilities

  • Drive New Business: Actively identify, develop, and close new opportunities within the partner network, delivering against ambitious growth targets.
  • Build High-Impact Relationships: Forge strong, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers in the partner organisation.
  • Be the Expert: Confidently demonstrate, present, and position Asset Finance solutions as high-value offerings, backed by insights and market knowledge.
  • Educate & Enable: Deliver engaging training, workshops, and ongoing knowledge-sharing to ensure partner teams can effectively sell and promote Asset Finance.
  • Lead the Growth Agenda: Map your region, design targeted engagement plans, and align partnership activity with strategic growth priorities.
  • Represent Propel with Impact: Host and support high-profile events, conferences, and meetings to raise visibility and generate leads.
  • Proven B2B sales and business development experience, ideally within Asset Finance, commercial lending, or banking.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage audiences from front-line teams to board level.
  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of financial products.
  • Relentlessly driven, proactive, and results-focused
