From this continued success we are now looking to recruit an Information Systems Security Engineer to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans. As an Information Systems Security Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of security policies, frameworks and controls, providing technical expertise, delivering and maintaining training, guidance and information security awareness. You will be joining a technology team with a diverse range of expertise and experience, offering excellent opportunities to develop new skills, broaden existing capabilities, and share knowledge in a supportive working environment.
Role responsibilities:
- To support the InfoSec function of the business
- Maintaining an ISMS in support of ISO 27001:2022 framework & accreditation
- Administer and test IRP & DR with key stakeholders
- Help to deliver and monitor performance of cyber awareness & information security training
- Review of security controls, policies and procedures
- Assisting the in-house IT team with overlapping BAU duties
- Monitor performance and review incidents managed by external 24/7 SOC
- Proven IT support experience, including responsibility at a Level 2 support capacity
- Demonstrable interest and aptitude for information security and/or cyber security
- Proven ability to design, follow and write up procedures and processes
- Strong all round IT skills, including an ability to create basic scripts and configure alerts
- Experience working within a service desk or helpdesk environment
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft SaaS and PaaS (Microsoft 365 & Azure)
