12 month fixed term contract with possibility of going permanent.

From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

Role responsibilities.

This role encompasses a diversified mixture of core accounting and financial control(s), including but not limited to full accountability and supporting the finance team for:

• Own the month-end and year-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee payroll administration, accounts receivable, and sales ledger activities.
• Manage financial controls and governance processes, supporting regulatory compliance and maintaining a strong financial control framework.
• Support statutory reporting requirements and act as a key liaison during the annual external audit.
• Provide technical accounting support and guidance to the wider Finance team, including investigating and resolving complex ledger balances, reconciliations, and accounting issues.
• Undertake first line of defence control testing and monitoring to assess financial control effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with finance-led and business-wide projects, driving process improvements, enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and providing subject matter expertise to achieve successful outcomes.
• Support the continuous development and improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the finance function
• Experience of operating strong financial controls
• Practical experience in an accounting function
• Qualified Accountant or actively studying for a professional accounting designation (part qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc)
• Financial services experience and Sage 200 experience is beneficial but not essential
