From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Business Support and Monitoring Managerto allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

Role responsibilities;
Monitoring & Assurance
- Design, implement, and maintain multiple monitoring and quality assurance frameworks aligned to regulatory expectations and business risk appetite.
- Conduct and oversee thematic reviews, file checks, and QA testing across multiple channels.
- Produce clear monitoring reports with findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for remedial action.
- Track and oversee the closure of actions arising from monitoring activity and regulatory feedback.
Regulatory Advisory
- Provide expert compliance advice to business stakeholders on FCA regulation (CONC, PRIN/Consumer Duty, DISP, SYSC), complaints handling, fraud prevention, and data protection.
- Act as a senior point of escalation for complex compliance queries and incidents.
- Support with regulatory horizon scanning and impact assessments for new/changed regulation.
Governance & Reporting
- Support the Head of Compliance with the production of board and committee MI, highlighting key risks, themes, and compliance performance.
- Ensure compliance documentation (policies, procedures, frameworks) is current, proportionate, and effective.
Generalist Compliance Support
- Provide complaints handling support, ensuring adherence to DISP requirements and FCA reporting standards.
- Work with fraud prevention colleagues to maintain strong financial crime controls and support Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) handling.
- Support GDPR compliance through oversight of data protection controls and processes.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Line management responsibilities for up to three monitoring analysts
- Mentor and develop junior compliance colleagues, contributing to succession planning and team resilience.
- Develop strong, constructive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Key skills required;
- Regulated compliance advisory background with strong monitoring and QA management and implementation skills.
- Significant experience in a compliance role within financial services, ideally credit/asset finance or wider lending sector.
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulation (CONC, PRIN, SYSC, DISP, Consumer Duty).
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring, QA, and building monitoring frameworks.
- Exposure to complaints handling, financial crime/fraud risk, and data protection.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, influence, and build credibility.
- Proven experience of designing and implementing monitoring and quality assurance frameworks to identify and minimise risk to the business and our customers.
