We’re excited to be recruiting an Account Manager on behalf of a well‑established business specialising in retail display and fixture programmes for leading FMCG and retail brands. This Account Manager vacancy offers the opportunity to build and nurture long‑term client relationships while overseeing the delivery of creative in‑store solutions across major high street brands, working closely with internal teams and international manufacturing partners.
Circa £55,000 plus annual salary review. Discretionary company profit‑related bonus. Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm. Hybrid working pattern; 3 days at office, 1 day WFH and 1 day per week on‑site with client. Free on‑site parking.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and develop key client accounts, building strong, long‑lasting business relationships within the retail and FMCG sectors.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, overseeing multiple retail display and fixture programmes from brief through to rollout.
- Collaborate with internal design, production and project teams to ensure client requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
- Support the translation of creative concepts into practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Coordinate with overseas manufacturing partners on a day‑to‑day basis to ensure quality, timelines and specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress, budgets and deliverables, providing clear updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client site visits in Nottinghamshire to maintain strong working relationships and ensure successful execution.
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience in an Account Manager role, ideally within a retail design agency, POS or display environment.
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on long‑term account growth.
- Good understanding of retail design, fixtures or display programmes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with internal teams and international suppliers or manufacturing partners.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving.
