Join us at Prop Sustainable (Hybrid, 1x day per week in London): We help Real Estate owners adopt EV Charging & Solar PV - with a focus on commercially accretive solutions. Decarbonisation needs to be stimulated by value generation. We’re quickly becoming the UK’s leading EV Infrastructure consultancy, with 11.24% of all public charging receiving our advice in Q4 2024. We’re shortlisted for a number of exciting awards in the Real Estate and Energy space. We’ve finished raising our investment and we are now cash generative. Solar PV is currently our second service, accounting for roughly 5% of our pipeline. We’re a small, agile team, supported by experienced investors and advisors. We have no "tech vision," no obsession with AI, and no plans to endlessly raise capital. We’re focused on decarbonising the built environment in a way that makes real commercial sense.
FULL DISCLOSURE: This role is admin heavy, we are not a tech-company and you will be working on a number of very basic tasks. However, the role is designed to allow someone to quickly grow into a senior operations role as we expand the team.
To date:
- We’ve advised on 400+ ultra-rapid charging points
- We’ve advised on 100+ renewable energy projects across the UK
We are open to applicants at all stages of their career, from entry-level to experienced professionals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Project management – running supplier tenders from start to finish
- Diary management – keeping the founder’s schedule in check
- Stakeholder management – maintaining comms with our partners & clients
- Client presentation prep – crafting decks and supporting materials
- Admin & operations – keeping things moving smoothly behind the scenes
- Marketing & PR – content, socials, and press where relevant
- Founder’s right hand – from glamorous client events to boring-but-necessary logistics
Who we’re looking for:
- Is a self-starter and thrives without rigid structures
- Finds mediocrity terrifying
- Can shift gears easily — from ordering event supplies to prepping presentations for multi-billion AUM funds
- Enjoys working in a small, fast-paced team
- Is open to flexible hours, travel, overnight stays, and in-person days when needed
- Wants to run their own business someday — and sees this as a stepping stone
- Has a real interest in renewable energy and/or real estate
What we’re offering:
- ÂŁ30,000 starting salary (rising to ÂŁ35,000 after 6 months service)
- Performance-based bonus / commission
- All work-related travel covered (including office visits)
- A Whoop or Apple Watch
- MacBook
- ÂŁ200 WFH setup budget
- Regular outdoorsy team trips (surfing, hiking, etc.)
- The chance to be an early-stage team member with rapid growth opportunities
- A role in a true meritocracy — no politics, just impact
The Process:
- Chat with Sandra (Current Founder’s Associate) – Sandra is sadly departing from this role due to personal reasons that require her to go back to South Africa. This would be a great time to have an informal chat- to ask questions, grab a drink, get the inside scoop.
- Chat with Luke (Founder) – Formal interview.
- Final stage – TBD (we’ll see if it’s even needed).
If you’re emailing or messaging us, include the phrase “rubber ducky” so we know you actually read this. No need for a cover letter, but include one if you’d like. IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
