Role Mission

At Prop Firm Match, the CFD & Futures Researcher is responsible for maintaining high‑quality research coverage across proprietary trading firms, with primary focus on futures prop firms and secondary coverage of CFD firms. You will maintain accurate, structured, and reliable firm data, while producing clear market insights and research outputs that support platform decisions, content initiatives, and trader education. Your success means that futures prop firms are deeply understood and continuously updated, while CFD coverage remains reliable and structured.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Objectives
    • Ensure accuracy of firm data and platform content.
    • Maintain high standards of accuracy across proprietary trading firm data and platform research, prioritizing futures firms and programs.
    • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data across internal research databases and the PFM platform.
    • Prioritize validation and monitoring of futures prop firms and trading programs.
    • Identify outdated, inconsistent, or missing information and correct it proactively.
    • Track changes across both futures and CFD firms, ensuring faster updates for futures firms.
    • Conduct regular audits of firm pages and research trackers.
    • Maintain structured documentation of research updates and firm changes.
  • Deliver structured research across CFD and futures prop firms.
    • Primary ownership of futures firms with supporting coverage of CFD firms.
    • Maintain detailed research profiles of futures prop firms.
    • Maintain working coverage of CFD firms to platform standards.
    • Track industry developments, firm updates, and new market entrants.
    • Deliver structured research summaries and firm analyses.
    • Maintain organized research documentation across firms and markets.
  • Produce clear market insights and research‑based content.
    • Monitor developments across futures markets (indices, commodities, rates) and relevant CFD markets.
    • Produce research briefs on futures trading conditions, firm structures, and platform models.
    • Contribute research‑backed insights for platform content and market analysis.
    • Translate complex futures concepts (contracts, margin structures, drawdowns) into clear explanations.
    • Support internal decision‑making with structured research insights.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve research and content quality.
    • Align research updates with platform needs and content initiatives.
    • Participate in internal discussions to share relevant research findings.
    • Identify workflow gaps and propose improvements to research processes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in research, market analysis, financial analysis, or a related role requiring strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, particularly futures instruments, with familiarity in CFD markets.
  • Familiarity with the proprietary trading industry and how prop firms operate, including challenge models and trading conditions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to organize and interpret complex financial information.
  • Excellent written communication skills to translate technical market information into clear insights.
  • Experience working with research tools, spreadsheets, or data management platforms.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a remote environment.
  • Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) with strong clarity and accuracy.
