Delivery Driver Long Distance Self Employed

Pay: £120.00-£190.00 per day

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Work Schedule and Driving Responsibilities

Your workday can begin at 5:00, 6:00, or 7:00 AM, depending on the shift assigned to your route. Routes are done for 12–13 hours.

You will be responsible for both pickups and deliveries. You have 1 hour allocated for loading the van in the morning. After loading, you will hit the road to deliver the products loaded, and you will also perform collections and unload items at warehouse locations throughout the day.

The pay for a completed workday is £120, paid regardless of circumstances as long as you finish your route.

Bonuses and Financial Details

  • Damage Bonus: £10 per day worked over the course of a week. To qualify, you must purchase damage insurance (£137.50/year) and not incur any damage during the week.
  • On-Time Bonus: Up to £20 for the day if there is a maximum delay of 60 minutes in completing daily tasks.
  • Feedback Bonus: For every 10 positive feedback ratings accumulated, you earn £20 for each day worked during that period.

You may take the company van home. The company will cover fuel costs for commuting to and from home up to a total distance of 20 miles (10 miles each way). If you use the van for personal travel, fuel will be deducted from your payment.

Accident Protocol and Driver Deposit

If you are at fault in an accident and the other party files a claim, you may be responsible for paying the insurance excess of £750. If you are not at fault, you do not bear costs related to the claim.

Driver Deposit: A £1,500 deposit is held by the Company for the duration of your employment. It is refunded after two weeks if you finish your work and choose not to continue. Outstanding fines or damages may be deducted from the deposit.

First week includes paid training at £80 per day (training is paid per day, not per hour).
