The Role: Proofpoint is looking for a Senior Marketing Programs Manager to join our email marketing team. This person will work cross functionally with the marketing campaigns team and other internal stakeholders to plan and execute email campaigns, as well as report on results and pipeline influence. We want someone who is passionate about getting the right message to the right person at the right time to take an active role in email strategy and promote best practices across all teams. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of dedicated experience managing email programs in Marketo. Your day-to-day: Collaborate on high level strategy for the email marketing channel including overall calendar, campaign design, audience segmentation, AB testing, response forecasting, and KPI/pipeline reporting Planning and execution against quarterly goals, working closely with marketing campaigns team and other stakeholders Provide input on email content, reviewing all content before it goes out for consistency and ensuring the copy meets best practices around CTAs and landing pages Develop and maintain nurture programs by solution interest and vertical, incorporating advanced elements such as direct mail and triggered sends into the streams Own a library of Marketo email templates and work with an agency for periodic refreshe Lead database segmentation and maintain clean lists for targeted sends Conduct regular audits of database health and email deliverability rates Ensure we meet CAN-SPAM, CASL and other email regulations Marketo, Salesforce, and PowerBI reporting for email & nurture channels, looking beyond open/click performance metrics to overall database engagement and pipeline influence What you bring to the team Deep domain experience of email and nurture marketing in Marketo, to B2B audiences knowledge of anti-spam guidelines and email deliverability/reputation monitoring Expert project management, communication and creative skills, with excellent attention to detail Highly results-driven, with an ability to think strategically and get things done quickly Why Proofpoint: Inclusive Culture: We are committed to fostering a workplace where inclusion is not just values but practices embedded in everything we do.
