The Renewals Account Manager (Spanish-Speaking) is responsible for managing the full renewals lifecycle for assigned customers within Spanish-speaking regions. This role focuses on driving customer retention, minimizing churn, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring a seamless renewal experience. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, customer-obsessed, commercially minded, and highly organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Renewals Management
- Own and manage a portfolio of customer renewals across Spanish-speaking markets.
- Deliver accurate and timely renewal quotes, ensuring alignment with pricing policies and contract terms.
- Drive early engagement motions to secure on-time and early renewals.
- Maintain high forecast accuracy for renewal bookings.
- Customer Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders (admins, procurement, IT, finance).
- Conduct proactive outreach throughout the renewal cycle to understand needs, risks, and potential growth opportunities.
- Communicate clearly and confidently in Spanish and English across written and verbal channels.
- Churn & Risk Mitigation
- Identify, document, and mitigate churn risks early in the cycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Finance to resolve blockers and secure retention.
- Develop customer-specific renewal strategies to reduce contraction and maximize lifetime value.
- Commercial Acumen
- Negotiate renewal terms, uplift exceptions, and multi-year proposals to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Identify expansion signals and partner with RAMs for upsell/cross-sell motions.
- Ensure pricing integrity and adherence to discount guidelines.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) including renewal stages, risk notes, and quote details.
- Track performance metrics such as ARR and churn rates.
- Prepare justifications for approvals, including uplift reduction and non-standard terms requests.
- Continuously improve processes and contribute to playbooks for Spanish-speaking markets.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Experience in renewal management, account management, customer success, or sales.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume book of business.
- Proficiency with CRM and quoting tools (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ).
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models.
- Understanding of procurement practices in LATAM and/or Spain.
- Multilingual beyond Spanish/English (optional).
