Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Commercial sales team in the DACH region. The role involves working closely with regional sales and marketing teams to create sales‑accepted leads through inbound and outbound activities, and to develop and execute account‑based sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries.
- Gather actionable intelligence (competition, projects, purchase intent, etc.) for the list of target accounts.
- Follow up on all leads generated by marketing and convert initial interest into sales‑accepted leads.
- Manage email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
- Conduct cold‑calling telephone‑based campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
- Maintain accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in Salesforce.com.
- Schedule demonstrations between the Sales team members and potential customers.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated individual with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience with solutions that can be deployed in private or public clouds is a plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is a bonus.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and a history of succeeding in a goal‑driven environment.
- Fluent in German and English.
