Role Summary:
- A Senior Engineer or Senior Consultant with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting Ping Identity (heritage ForgeRock) solutions.
- Extensive experience in one or more of: PingAM (Formally ForgeRock Access Manager), PingGateway (formally ForgeRock Identity Gateway), PingDS (formally ForgeRock Directory Services), PingIDM (formally ForgeRock Identity Management).
- Industry protocols such as OpenID Connect, OAuth2, SAML and SCIM.
- Developing secure solutions.
- Deploying and operating the Ping platform utilising DevOps methodologies.
- Deploying the Ping Identity platform into cloud platforms.
- Validating planned solution changes ensuring alignment with best practices, security, target state and organisational policies.
- Mentoring junior colleagues building and implementing changes to the platform ensuring changes are secure and supportable.
- Providing an escalation point to junior colleagues during incidents through on-call rota.
Evidence:
- Certifications in the ForgeRock products, and other IAM technologies.
- Knowledgeable about wider cyber security issues.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage and virtualisation.
- Broad knowledge including Restful APIs, directory services, LDAP.
- Evidence of experience with IAM, IGA and PAM solutions.
- Evidence of working in an agile / DevOps / continuous improvement methodology.
- Evidence of working on complex engagements and giving a clear account of the issues faced, and how they worked individually and as part of a team on resolutions.
- Communication skills and the ability to differentiate to stakeholders both technical and non-technical.
