Role Summary
A Solution Architect with proven experience of design, architecting and delivering solutions based on the Ping Identity Platform. This role will include the requirement to be able to do implementation as well as the Solution Architecture. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring we continue to deliver high quality solutions for our customers. The solutions architect is required to design and implement IAM solutions for ProofID customers that integrate seamlessly with the organisation’s infrastructure. The solutions architect is required to translate business requirements into technical specifications and detailed solution designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Design, Architecture and Implementation of IAM Solutions, this could be a mix of remote, in the office and on-site with customers
- Proven experience as a hands-on Architect with a specific focus on Ping Identity technologies
- Strong experience in the Ping Identity Platform and products with deep knowledge of PingOne AIC (ForgeRock Identity Cloud) and Ping Gateway (ForgeRock IG)
- Proficiency in design and implementation of identity authentication and authorization solutions using standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML and other protocols
- Discover and analyse customer needs in the context of the customer’s broader business aims and objectives by taking input from stakeholders and users
- Able to facilitate groups in discovery and design workshops and direct groups to make decisions
- Propose and design IAM solutions in both green and brownfield environments
- To understand and be able to design solutions for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and Workforce Identity and Access Management (W/IAM) environments
- Able to translate complex and multi-disciplinary cross-business requirements into IAM solutions and migration roadmaps
- Collates and clearly documents architectural proposals that include an assessment of strategic fit, risks, impacts and delivery recommendations. Ensures proposals are up-to-date over the lifetime of the product
- Good understanding of the application of industry best practices design and architecture principles and standards and their impact on the creation of designs
- Owns, develops and maintains technical roadmaps for solutions, managing levels of technology risk in conjunction with project and delivery teams
- Actively contribute to the formation and evolution of ProofID practice, continuously improving / evolving methodologies and coaching / guiding other team members across the organisation
- Certifications in the Ping products, and other IAM technologies
- Experience with PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (ForgeRock Identity Cloud)
- Experience with PingGateway (ForgeRock IG)
- Experience with PingAM (ForgeRock Access Manager)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies
- Knowledgeable about wider cyber security issues
- Evidence of working in an agile / DevOps / continuous improvement methodology
- Evidence of working on complex engagements and giving a clear account of the issues faced, the solution generated and the benefits achieved
- Evidence of being able to manage several complex projects at various stages concurrently
