The Role
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of technology, research, marketing, and business development. You’ll work directly with the leadership team to produce industry research, interview senior executives and technical experts, publish thought leadership content, and support outbound campaigns designed to generate commercial opportunities. You’ll spend your time learning about emerging technologies, speaking with industry leaders, creating content, and helping us build relationships with companies shaping the future of energy and industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Research & Market Intelligence
- Research emerging technology markets and companies
- Track funding activity, hiring trends, and industry developments
- Identify target companies and decision-makers
- Build intelligence reports and market maps
- Content & Thought Leadership
- Interview founders, executives, investors, and technical experts
- Develop whitepapers and industry reports
- Write articles, LinkedIn content, and research summaries
- Help establish PROOF. as a trusted voice across technical industries
- Business Development Support
- Build and manage outbound outreach campaigns
- Support email and LinkedIn engagement activities
- Identify opportunities for conversations with prospective clients
- Assist with follow-up and campaign performance tracking
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Naturally curious about technology and innovation
- Comfortable speaking with senior industry professionals
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Interest in clean technology, batteries, mining, nuclear, robotics, advanced materials, or industrial technology
- Experience writing reports, articles, or technical content
