We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead project delivery and day-to-day client relationships at Proof of Work Studio.

Working closely with our founders, Charlie and David, you’ll manage projects from brief to launch.

You’ll coordinate designers and developers, keep clients informed and make sure scope, budgets and schedules stay on track.

The opportunity

You’ll manage projects across brand, web, product and motion, acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout delivery.

You’ll turn briefs and feedback into clear actions, plan the work with our team and address problems before they affect delivery.

You’ll work directly with the founders, with responsibility for managing the daily decisions that keep projects moving.

  • What you’ll do
  • Manage projects from kickoff to launch, with clear scope, schedules and responsibilities.
  • Build client relationships and lead project communication.
  • Coordinate briefs, client meetings, feedback and approvals.
  • Plan team capacity and book freelancers with contracts and NDAs in place.
  • Track budgets, communicate scope changes and resolve delivery issues.
  • Raise client invoices at agreed milestones and approve freelancer invoices.
  • Support pitches and proposals.
  • Keep project files and final assets organised.

About you

You’re comfortable taking responsibility for delivery and having direct conversations about budgets, priorities and deadlines.

You understand creative work and can give a team the clarity it needs to do that work well.

You’ll bring

  • Experience independently managing brand and digital projects within a design studio or creative agency.
  • Experience owning both project delivery and client communication.
  • The ability to coordinate designers, developers and motion specialists across several projects.
  • Confidence managing scope, budgets, schedules and competing priorities.
  • Clear written communication and a good eye for checking work against a brief.
  • The judgement to resolve routine issues independently and involve the founders when needed.
  • Comfort using AI tools.

Experience with international clients, including the US, would be useful. We welcome applicants from project management, account management or creative production backgrounds.

Working with us

This role is fully remote within the UK. We’re open to full-time, part-time or freelance arrangements, with working days agreed before you start.

You must be based in the UK and available during UK working hours.

Employees join our UK payroll and must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Freelancers must be able to invoice for their services.

  • Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per year, depending on experience, pro rata for part-time.
  • Freelance day rate: £300 to £350, depending on experience and agreed scope.
