Job Overview
Brockman’s are currently looking for a Brand Ambassador for the UK. In this role you will demonstrate established sales & marketing skills together with strong exposure to leading and developing super premium brands. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of Brockman’s by demonstrating a strong sense of determination and professionalism. Building positive relationships with both on-trade customers and consumers will be a key aspect of your work. Candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of the drinks industry including channel strategy, knowledge of the UK on-trade and drinks trends, events, trade fairs, drinks development, and activations. You will travel nationally for Brockman’s and represent their positioning of Properly Improper.

Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Proof Drinks Sales Team, Trade Marketing Manager and Brockman’s Brand Manager to implement the brand strategy and brand plans
- In addition to supporting and developing our existing customers, you acquire new customers through proactive lead generation, opening new distribution points, and supporting the sales team.
- Build brand loyalty across the market. Put the brands at the forefront of the trade
- Work with the UK Sales Team to drive brand awareness and rate of sale
- Increase the demand for Brockman’s by activating existing customers
- Responsible to maximize the brand impact in the on-trade by managing the assignments and placing POS material, ensuring disruptive visibility, and bringing to life the brand proposition
- Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with Key accounts and industry figures
- Organize, manage, and take part in national trade fairs, customer events, and functions
- Continuously observe the market and competitive situation and are always on the lookout for the latest trends
- Deliver brand advocacy programs including exciting & original activations and trainings
- Lead drinks development using relevant and exciting recipes
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports alongside CRM reports
Requirements
- You have strong, demonstratable On-trade understanding. Ideally with a minimum of 5+ years of On-trade experience (prior bartender experience, trade marketing, brand ambassador)
- You are a respected figure within the local On-trade, and you have access to an extensive network of relevant contacts
- You have high-level cocktail and drinks development experience
- You have a focused, strategic and passionate approach together with strong sales and marketing experience
- You are confident and outgoing with experience in public speaking & strong presentation skills
- You are able to surprise and delight by innovating with new mechanics/tactics to promote and establish the brands in the market
- You have strong relationship-building and communication skills
- You are very organized, and you have good time management
- You are very familiar with using Microsoft Office and can also score points when it comes to digital marketing (including social media, and active presence online)
- When it comes to analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with a focus on brand development, you are top-class, and you bring negotiations to a successful conclusion thanks to your special feeling for the needs of our customers
- You enjoy working and traveling in a team and love getting your fellow human beings and (potential) customers excited about our world of spirits
- Event experience preferable
- Strong reputation within the UK On-trade is an advantage
- UK drinks market exposure is an advantage
