We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales & Partnerships team, owning and growing a portfolio of strategic NHS accounts across the UK, with a path to evolve into the EU Data Network Lead as the business scales in Europe.

About The Role

Promptly is entering an exciting phase of growth. The role focuses on managing key UK accounts, aligning Promptly's Data Network capabilities with customer goals, and acting as a trusted advisor to NHS trusts, payers, and life sciences clients.

What You'll Be Expected To Do:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts (healthcare systems, trusts, payers, life sciences clients) in the UK.
  • Serve as the primary relationship lead: understand Trusts' strategic goals, align Promptly's Data Network capabilities to those goals, and act as the trusted advisor.
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell within existing Partners.
  • Negotiate data partnership agreements, contracts, SLAs, and partnership terms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, legal, operations, sales) to deliver on commitments.
  • Monitor account performance, usage, health metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage risks, escalate issues, and ensure Partners derive value from the network and Promptly's technology stack.
  • Serve as the voice of the Data Partners internally, feeding input into product roadmap and service enhancements.
  • Represent Promptly at NHS events, conferences, and in customer forums as needed.
  • Build a platform for growth with the opportunity to evolve into the EU Data Network Lead role as the business expands across Europe.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

  • 5+ years in account management / key account / enterprise sales in the healthcare, life sciences, or health data space.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in the UK / Europe.
  • Experience with data / analytics / software-as-a-service solutions, especially in health or life sciences domains.
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract experience.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to travel (within UK, possibly Europe) as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.

Position: Remote-first, Full time, Based in UK (mandatory).
