About The Role
Promptly is expanding its Life Sciences commercial team and is hiring a Global Life Sciences Business Developer to help build and qualify pipeline across pharma and medtech accounts. This hands‐on commercial role focuses on opportunity generation and early‐stage engagement. The role works closely with senior sales, pre‐sales engineering, and data partner teams, providing exposure to complex enterprise deals and a clear career path to full ownership of account strategy.
What You'll Be Expected To Do
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities with Life Sciences companies (pharma, biotech, medtech)
- Research target accounts and stakeholders across RWE, HEOR, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Digital teams
- Run outbound and inbound qualification, including discovery calls and early technical positioning
- Help translate sponsor evidence needs into concrete use cases
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, qualification notes, and forecasting inputs
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within Life Sciences
- Familiarity with how pharmaceutical and medtech organisations buy evidence and data solutions
- Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with mid‐level and senior stakeholders
- Structured and disciplined approach to pipeline development and CRM hygiene
- Ability to learn and explain technical and regulatory concepts at a high level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity, resilience, and willingness to operate in a long sales‐cycle environment
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
