The Opportunity

As a Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and helping merchants switch to more competitive payment solutions. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work remotely, from our office near Finsbury Park, and in the field meeting prospective clients. You will be supported with training, proposal generation, onboarding assistance and access to market-leading products from major payment providers.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners and decision-makers
  • Attend networking events and industry exhibitions
  • Develop referral partner relationships with accountants, EPOS providers and business introducers
  • Make outbound calls and conduct email outreach
  • Present tailored proposals and cost-saving solutions
  • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle to completion
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and activity levels
  • Work closely with our onboarding team to ensure a smooth customer experience

What We're Looking For

  • Previous sales experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Ambitious and financially motivated
  • Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
