We protect the reputation of the brand by using our global legal and promotional expertise to de-risk, shape and implement campaigns that are compliant, effective and secure. We advise and influence the development of clients’ promotions, digital activations, judging competitions, running prize draws, and overseeing voting for major TV shows. Our client base includes some of the World’s leading brands: Amazon, Facebook, Cadbury, Subway, O2, Pepsi, Walkers, ASOS, Barclays, American Express, Foot Locker, Pringles, Kellogg’s and over 200 more including influential agencies with a large part of work coming from projects run overseas – 92 countries in 2023 alone.

The team of 40 includes in-house lawyers, project managers and client managers.

The role of the Senior Account Director involves driving strategic growth across a portfolio of key clients while leading and developing two teams. You will act as a senior strategic partner to clients, using a consultative selling approach to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and influence decision‑making at a senior level. You will bring strong commercial awareness, ensuring all client engagements deliver sustainable revenue growth and align with wider business objectives.

This role requires oversight of two separate teams, each with their own client portfolios. You will provide day‑to‑day leadership support to both teams while also driving long‑term strategic growth, ensuring consistency in delivery, performance, and client experience across both. You will be accountable not only for achieving revenue targets but for building scalable client partnerships, developing talent, and embedding a high‑performance, commercially focused culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic & Commercial Leadership
    • Own and deliver against quarterly sales targets across both teams
    • Create a long‑term sales strategy for each of the teams
    • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, balancing client needs with profitability and business priorities
  • Consultative Selling & Client Leadership
    • Build and maintain senior‑level client relationships, influencing stakeholders at Director level and above
    • Skilled in selling complex, intangible solutions by simplifying them for clients, making it easy for them to understand and feel comfortable with digital and data products.
    • Bring experience from an agency or consultancy environment, applying best practice in client servicing and growth
  • Client Outreach
    • Initiating outbound calls and meetings (both in‑person and remote) with clients to discuss potential and ongoing projects, while also encouraging and leading your team to do the same.
  • Account Team Leadership
    • Lead, manage, and develop two account teams, ensuring alignment, collaboration across the business, and consistent standards
    • Provide day‑to‑day leadership support, guidance, and escalation management across both teams
    • Drive a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement
    • Support professional development, coaching, and career progression for team members
    • Conduct regular one‑to‑ones and provide constructive feedback, including managing challenging conversations where needed
  • Client Growth & Strategic Development
    • Oversee the strategic development plans for clients within each team, ensuring clear roadmaps for growth
    • Support teams in identifying opportunities beyond individual projects, building long‑term partnerships
    • Ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality work that strengthens client trust and retention
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Lead collaboration across internal departments to ensure best‑in‑class client servicing and excellence in delivery
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure effective pipeline management across both teams, maintaining visibility of opportunities and risks
    • Drive best practice in account management, sales processes, and CRM usage
    • Maintain a high level of organisation and oversight across multiple concurrent projects
    • Ensure delivery teams are set up for success with clear direction and expectations
Skill Set
  • Proven experience in a Senior Account Director or equivalent role, ideally within an agency, consultancy, or professional services environment
  • Strong track record in consultative selling, particularly in complex, intangible services
  • High level of commercial acumen, with experience managing revenue targets and contributing to business strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multiple teams simultaneously
  • Exceptional client relationship skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at senior stakeholder level
  • Experience managing large, complex client accounts across multiple markets or stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions
