Membership Sales Manager

Position Overview:
As the Sales Manager, you will take on the overall responsibility and accountability for driving the club’s membership and group golf sales performance. This includes overseeing the development, execution, and management of strategies to enhance membership acquisition and retention, as well as maximizing group golf sales.
You will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing a small team of sales professionals, ensuring that they have the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to succeed. By fostering a positive and productive work environment, you will inspire your team to reach their full potential and achieve the club's sales goals.
As a key member of the club’s leadership team, your input will be valuable in shaping the strategic direction of the organization, while working collaboratively to maintain a great working atmosphere and a strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly sales targets for memberships and group golf business.
- Convert inbound prospects into clients/members through effective sales strategies.
- Champion all sales activities, including prospecting, follow-up calls, and appointments.
- Deliver club-wide promotional plans to drive sales and enhance visibility.
- Ensure the sales team consistently delivers outstanding service levels for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Take complete ownership of individual actions and demonstrate pride in their work.
About You:
- Two year’s experience in a membership sales role within the health and fitness, leisure, or golf industry.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and modern marketing methods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
- Have your own transport and live within thirty minutes of Dartford, Kent.
