Overview of Role:
As Front of House Manager at Hever Castle Golf Club, your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of the Bar, Restaurant, and Course Refreshment Hut, delivering exceptional service to all guests.
Through clear communication and inspirational leadership, you will foster a motivated team dedicated to enhancing the customer experience. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across all areas, continuously seeking opportunities to elevate the guest journey and align services with the Club’s ambition to be a leading provider in the Golf & Wellbeing industry.
- Plan and manage the Front of House (FOH) team and operations to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Create and manage staff rotas, oversee recruitment, and ensure thorough training of service staff.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and senior Clubhouse staff to uphold food quality and customer experience standards.
- Oversee stock controls, budget management, and financial procedures, including cash handling and compliance with club policies.
- Handle FOH administration, including bar pricing, point-of-sale systems, and maintaining a professional office environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Drive sales and revenue growth while fostering a high-performing, motivated FOH team through leadership, training, and clear performance management.
- Undertake a Duty Manager role as and when required.
About You:
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in Bar and Catering services within a high-quality environment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, guests, and visitors.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide a cohesive and high-performing team.
- A Personal Licence Holder with previous DPS experience.
- Have your own transport and live within a 40-minute drive of Hever Castle, Edenbridge.
- Understand the requirement for weekend work.
