Responsible for the effective delivery of high-quality clinical and medical training programmes, ensuring courses are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with established quality standards. Fully adheres to current quality management systems to support the UK training department in upholding the organisation's mission, reputation, and commitment to clinical excellence. Reporting to the Training Director, provides collaborative support to all members of the training team in the execution of their respective responsibilities. Promotes and consistently demonstrates company values, maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver high-quality clinical and medical training programmes, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based practice across all sessions.
- Facilitate practical, simulation-based, and classroom learning to develop clinical competence, confidence, and operational readiness in learners.
- Maintain current professional registration, clinical competence, and subject matter expertise to ensure credibility and best practice in all instruction.
- Ensure all courses are delivered in accordance with relevant clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and national/international quality frameworks.
- Plan, prepare, and adapt training sessions to meet the specific clinical needs of individual learners, teams, and client organisations.
- Assess learner performance through observation, feedback, and formal evaluation to confirm clinical competence and learning outcomes.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support to learners to promote safe clinical practice and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all clinical training equipment, medical devices, and simulation resources are safe, serviceable, and fit for purpose.
- Support the delivery of UK and international medical training contracts, including on-site and field-based instruction as required.
- Contribute clinical expertise to the development, review, and enhancement of training materials, scenarios, and course content.
- Maintain accurate training records and complete associated administrative requirements to support compliance and governance.
- Promote a culture of clinical excellence, professionalism, and patient safety while representing company values at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the wider training team to ensure consistent, high-quality clinical training delivery.

Qualifications
- Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse or Combat Medical Technician Class One - EMT.
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA).
- Level 3, or above, adult learning qualification with medical training experience.
- Clinically competent, and willing to undertake clinical CPD.
Desirable
- Technical knowledge and understanding of the medical industry.
- Computer literate & experienced in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of working with relevant awarding bodies.
- Previous experience as an Affiliate Faculty Member or Course Director on awarding bodies frameworks.
- Other desirable qualifications such as CBRNe, Education courses etc.
- Security clearance.
Essential Experience
- Proven clinical experience within a relevant healthcare or pre-hospital/medical environment (e.g., acute care, emergency medicine, military, ambulance, or specialist clinical setting).
- Demonstrable experience delivering clinical or medical training in classroom, practical, and simulation-based environments.
- Experience teaching, assessing, and evaluating clinical skills and competencies across a range of learner groups.
- Experience adapting training delivery to meet varied learner needs, operational requirements, and different learning styles.
- Experience maintaining compliance with clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory standards within a training or healthcare setting.
- Experience developing or contributing to clinical training materials, lesson plans, and course content.
- Experience using clinical equipment, simulation aids, and medical devices within a training context.
- Experience providing constructive feedback, coaching, and mentorship to support learner development and performance improvement.
- Experience supporting training delivery across multiple sites or client locations (including field-based or remote environments where applicable).
- Experience completing associated training administration, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
