About Us:
Prometheus is seeking a Clinical Instructor to join our UK Team. Prometheus Medical International delivers innovative pre-hospital medical training and expert medical consultancy services to a range of clients from across the world. We work with a range of sectors including defence, emergency services and global corporations.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical and medical training (classroom, practical, simulation).
- Ensure courses meet regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.
- Assess, coach, and mentor learners to develop clinical competence.
- Plan and adapt training to meet diverse learner and client needs.
- Maintain clinical competence, professional registration, and subject expertise.
- Manage training equipment, resources, and administrative records.
- Support UK and international training delivery, including field-based sessions.
- Collaborate with the training team and promote company values and clinical excellence.
Mandatory Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse, or Combat Medical Technician Class One – EMT
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)
- Level 3 (or above) adult learning qualification with medical training experience
- Clinically competent and willing to undertake CPD
- Right to reside and work in the United Kingdom
- Proven clinical experience in healthcare or pre-hospital/medical settings (acute care, emergency medicine, military, ambulance, or specialist clinical environments)
- Experience delivering training in classroom, practical, and simulation-based settings
- Skilled in teaching, assessing, and evaluating clinical skills across diverse learner groups
- Experience maintaining compliance with clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
- Involvement in developing training materials, lesson plans, and course content
- Experience supporting training across multiple sites, including field-based or remote locations
