The Coordinator, Logistics role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with logistics and transport partners and ensuring the continued efficiencies of the local logistics team. This role will be responsible for the coordination of inbound and outbound order activity through their region's warehouse, service support for shipments in transit from the China warehouse, along with document and computer system support.
Base salary: £26,200 - £32,700 annually + Bonus Eligible
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with freight agents to ensure that Inbound Orders are actioned in the correct timescales and to the expected quality.
- Ensure that Outbound Orders are transacted, processed and delivered in line with both customer requirements and internal SLAs.
- Maintain timely and accurate records.
- Build and maintain good relationships with external transport companies to ensure continued time and cost efficiencies.
- Create and supply shipping and supporting documents to allow effective processing of shipments.
- Calculate efficient order loading plans, timescales and costs.
- Administrative activities in support of Operations processes.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 – 3+ years demonstrable logistics administration experience, or a degree level qualification in a related field.
- Knowledge of warehousing and transport best practices.
- Knowledge of local logistics and customs regulations and requirements.
- Strong IT literacy.
- Good communication skills to effectively exchange information internally and externally.
