Are you a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in mental health?
We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist at a specialist NHS mental health service supporting individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for individuals with first-episode psychosis
• Promote recovery and meaningful occupation through evidence-based practice
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
• Provide leadership, support, and supervision to junior staff or students
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 2 years\’ post-qualifying experience, ideally in mental health settings
• Experience working with psychosis or early intervention services is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively

Job Types: Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
