We manage the full process — from instruction and expert allocation through to examination, reporting and invoicing — ensuring professionalism, confidentiality and compliance at every stage.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Medico-Legal Case Manager to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, operational role where you will manage medico-legal instructions from initial receipt through to final report delivery and invoicing. You’ll be the key point of contact for instructing solicitors and independent medical experts, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently and within agreed timelines. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a medico-legal reporting or expert witness agency who is confident managing cases independently within structured processes and pricing frameworks.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing, triaging and logging new medico-legal instructions
- Allocating cases to appropriately qualified medical experts
- Managing cases from allocation through to report completion and invoicing
- Monitoring turnaround times and proactively managing any delays
- Acting as the main point of contact for instructing solicitors
- Maintaining accurate case records and audit trails
- Applying agreed pricing structures and escalating non-standard requests where required
- Monitoring expert performance and addressing quality or responsiveness concerns
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements
You’ll be working across personal injury, clinical negligence and, where applicable, MedCo-aligned instructions.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a medico-legal reporting or expert witness agency (essential)
- Proven experience managing instructions from receipt through to report completion
- Confident communicating with solicitors and medical experts
- Strong understanding of personal injury and/or clinical negligence reporting processes
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple live cases
- Comfortable working within structured processes and pricing frameworks
- MedCo experience is advantageous but not essential
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + birthday day
- Annual leave increases with service (up to 25 days)
- Workplace pension scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 support for employees and household members)
- Gym membership
- Structured career progression pathway
- Casual office dress code
- Company social events
If you’re an experienced medico-legal case manager looking for a structured environment with clear progression and responsibility, we’d welcome your application.
