We're looking for a driven, high-performing Sales Executive to join our advertising sales team in a pure new business role. Based in the UK, you'll be responsible for winning new clients across the global aviation and aerospace sectors, playing a key role in growing FlightGlobal's advertising revenue and market presence.
What you'll do
- New Business Development - Proactively identify, target and win new advertising clients worldwide and build relationships with senior decision-makers through outreach, networking and consultative selling.
- Solution Selling - Understand client marketing goals and create tailored, multi-platform advertising solutions.
- Own the Full Sales Cycle - Prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate and close. Consistently exceed new business revenue targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate for Success - Partner with Account Management, Editorial and Operations teams to deliver seamless campaigns and long-term client value.
You'll sell across a powerful, multi-channel platform including:
- Digital display & sponsorship across FlightGlobal.com and leading editorial newsletters (Aerospace, Airlines, Defence, Sustainability).
- Content partnerships (paid content, webinars, podcasts and bespoke solutions).
- Print advertising in Flight International, Airline Business, Flight Daily News, and official trade show publications worldwide.
What you bring
- Proven success in new business sales, ideally within media, advertising or B2B.
- Confident managing a global territory and complex international deals.
- Strong communicator and negotiator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
- Selfâmotivated, targetâdriven and resilient.
- Aviation or aerospace knowledge is a strong advantage.
- CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce).
