We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to accelerate new business growth within ProMedia. Based in the UK, you'll take ownership of developing new advertising revenue, identifying high-value commercial opportunities and building strategic relationships with senior decision-makers across the industry. You'll manage complex sales opportunities from first contact through to close, while helping strengthen ProMedia's commercial position in the market. This is a senior, hands-on sales role for someone who can combine strong new business performance with a strategic approach to growing accounts, markets and revenue.
What you'll do
- Drive New Business Growth β Develop and execute a new business strategy, identifying priority markets, prospects and revenue opportunities.
- Build Strategic Client Relationships β Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers, understanding their commercial and marketing priorities and turning these into long-term opportunities.
- Develop Commercial Solutions β Create tailored, multi-platform proposals that bring together ProMedia's digital, content, print and sponsorship opportunities to meet client objectives.
- Own the Full Sales Cycle β Lead complex sales opportunities from prospecting and qualification through pitching, negotiation and close, taking ownership of ambitious revenue targets and KPIs.
- Manage Pipeline & Forecasting β Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, forecast revenue and use market and client insight to identify opportunities for further growth.
- Strengthen Market Presence β Represent ProMedia at relevant industry events and build a strong network.
- Collaborate Across the Business β Work closely with Account Management, Editorial and Operations to develop commercial opportunities, deliver successful campaigns and maximise long-term client value.
What you bring
- A strong track record of delivering new business revenue, ideally within media, advertising or B2B sales.
- Experience owning and developing a global or international sales territory.
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-value commercial opportunities from prospecting through to close.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to identify and develop new revenue opportunities.
- Confidence building relationships and negotiating with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- A consultative approach to sales, with the ability to translate client objectives into compelling commercial solutions.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline.
- A self-motivated, target-driven approach with the confidence to take ownership of your market.
- Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce.
