Overview
We are looking to build a talent pool of motivated and dependable individuals who would be interested in future temporary opportunities with a busy, well-established recycling facility in Alness.

Responsibilities
- Supporting both picking-line and warehouse operations as required
- Sorting mixed waste streams, including construction and house-clearance materials, and safely removing bulky items
- Separating materials into designated bays (wood, plasterboard, plastics, rocks, blocks, etc.)
- Processing confidential waste through shredding
- Assisting with cable stripping, baling plastics and cardboard, and sorting metals
- Using handheld tools to grade metals and identify ferrous and non-ferrous materials
Qualifications
- Recent experience in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- The ability to remain on their feet throughout a shift
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- The ability to lift, move and sort materials safely
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively within a team
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday shifts, between 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm
- Occasional Saturday overtime, depending on operational requirements
- Pay rates from £13.45 per hour, with enhanced weekend rates of up to £20.18 per hour where applicable
