An established aquaculture business with a reputation for low‑impact, high-welfare farming has an opportunity for an experienced Landing Craft Skipper to support daily marine logistics and sea site operations in the remote and scenic Northwest Highlands.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a Skipper who can confidently lead vessel operations, support aquaculture logistics and uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance and environmental care.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain landing craft within certified limits and in line with D.O.T, MCA and Health & Safety regulations
  • Perform sea site operations including feed delivery, mooring maintenance, towing of pens and barges
  • Keep thorough onboard records including servicing, engine logs, fuel use, crew hours and disinfection protocol
  • Support farm operations and liaise with production and site managers
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety and environmental protocols
  • Supervise boat personnel, including training and performance management
  • Weekend work as required by boat workload

  • Driving licence and own transport
