About the Role
ProMatch is recruiting a reliable Dispatch Operative for a well-established, employee‑owned seafood processing business based in Alness. This opportunity offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the final stages of production and ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched.
Key Responsibilities
- Check customer orders against requirements and ensure accuracy
- Reallocate products between depots and days as needed
- Build and label pallets to customer specifications
- Move pallets and assist with lorry loading using manual pallet trucks
- Maintain good housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Work collaboratively to ensure dispatch runs efficiently

- Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands‑on approach
- Good numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to differentiate products
- Able to follow processes logically and work under pressure
- Team player with a positive attitude and good timekeeping
- Flexible and willing to see tasks through to completion

What’s In It For You
- £12.60 per hour + Overtime at £18.90 per hour after 37.5 hours per week
- Steady hours of work – 5 days out of 7, scheduled across Monday to Sunday, with core hours typically set at 8am to 4pm.
- Training provided and opportunity to build new skills
- Enhanced holiday leave of 30 days per year after 12 weeks in post
- Offers stability through an initial agency contract with clear pathway to permanent employment providing standards are met
