Our Client is a proudly independent Scottish salmon farming and processing business with a global reputation for quality, sustainability and innovation.

An opportunity has become available for an additional Quality Controller to join their Processing Facility on the night shift at their Dingwall facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing or food processing who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor product quality and food safety throughout the production process.
  • Complete and maintain all quality documentation and records to the required standard.
  • Ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
  • Investigate, report, and support the resolution of quality concerns.
  • Carry out environmental and product swabbing in line with the testing schedule.
  • Promote and uphold food safety, health & safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
  • Our Ideal Candidate
  • Experience within a food manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Good understanding of food safety and quality requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Self-motivated, professional, adaptable, and a strong team player.
  • What’s On Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of £15.02 per hour.
  • Overtime paid at £22.53 per hour after 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday night shift starting from 6pm
  • Guaranteed 37.5 hours' pay per week, even during periods of reduced production volume, subject to no unauthorised absence being undertaken.
  • Enhanced holiday leave of 30 per year after 12 weeks in post.

  • Stability through an initial agency contract with clear pathway to permanent employment providing standards are met.
