A leading employee‑owned seafood business based in Alness has an opportunity available for a Stock Control Operative to join their team.

About the Role

You’ll be part of the Value Added team, supporting smooth production by managing and rotating stocks of ingredients and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Rotating stock and ensuring correct storage, including allergen‑controlled areas
  • Feeding production lines with the correct items at the right time
  • Receiving and checking deliveries
  • Monitoring stock levels and alerting the team when items run low
  • Maintaining tidy, well‑organised storage areas

This role suits someone organised, proactive and comfortable working in a chilled food‑production environment. You’ll be fully supported to build confidence and learn the site’s systems and processes.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in stock control, stores, or warehouse work is beneficial
  • Physical capability as manual handling will be involved
  • Computer skills are a plus, but if any computer‑based tasks are assigned, full training will be provided
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • A forklift licence is nice to have, not required
  • Reliable, adaptable and keen to learn
  • Comfortable working 8am–4pm with flexibility from 7am when needed
