ProMatch is supporting a long‑established, employee‑owned food manufacturing business in Alness as they look to welcome an additional Manufacturing Line Lead to their production team. About the Role
As a key member of the Production team, you’ll support the delivery of high‑quality salmon and trout products across multiple categories. Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll lead a production line, support partners, maintain compliance, and ensure safe, efficient and consistent output in line with SQPDC (Safety, Quality, People, Delivery & Cost) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Production and Agency Operatives, ensuring teams are trained, competent and aligned to daily requirements.
- Work with the Manufacturing Manager to plan and deliver production schedules, meeting order volumes, yield targets and customer specifications.
- Oversee daily operational checks, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and labelling standards.
- Carry out pre‑operational line set‑up, monitor equipment performance, and elevate any issues to Engineering promptly.
- Maintain accurate raw material and batch control, updating MES and ensuring product integrity throughout the process.
- Communicate clearly at the start of each shift, supporting partner development and fostering a positive, high‑performance culture.
