Ongoing Monday to Friday 7 : 30AM – 4PM (Early finishes on Friday)

Rate of pay : £13.81 – 20.71 per hour (weekly pay)

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced FLT Reach and Counterbalance truck drivers to start in the coming weeks in the Trafford Park area.

As a forklift truck operator, your main duties would include :

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as lorries or vans
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility (weighing 25kg)
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Part of the role will involve loading and unloading containers manually

Other warehouse duties outside of FLT

Please note that this position is primarily a manual processing role. FTL driving accounts for approximately 20% of the duties, with the remaining responsibilities involving manual labour.

The ideal candidate must :

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience operating FLT Reachtruck.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience operating FLT Counterbalancetruck.
• Have a in date and external license / certificate to operate FLT Reachand Counterbalance trucks.
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be able to organise and prioritise workload

The role starts on an initial temporary basis but long term / potentially permanent roles are available for the right people based on your performance, attitude and attendance.
