Our client, a specialist contractor delivering major plant and equipment operations across one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes, is seeking a proactive Plant Administrative Assistant to support the Plant team on site.
The Role
Based on site, you will provide proactive administrative support to the Plant team, helping to maintain accurate records, trackers and documentation, and supporting the wider team and other departments as required. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident managing paperwork and multiple trackers in a fast-paced site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and report working hours, overtime, holiday trackers and vehicle trackers
- Maintain Plant team records, trackers and general documentation stored on the plant server
- Support timesheets and attendance follow-up
- Assist with training, certification and expiry tracking
- Help with completing forms for materials requests
- Support temporary access forms to the job site
- Provide general administrative support to the Plant team and other departments when required
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role, ideally within a construction, plant, or site-based environment
- Confident user of Word, Excel and email
- Comfortable managing paperwork, trackers and multiple documentation streams
- Able to pass site vetting requirements
- Based in or able to commute to Suffolk on a daily basis
