We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver to join a well-established and growing business based in South Ockendon (RM15). This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term stability, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be part of a professional and supportive team.
The Role
- Carrying out deliveries and collections using a Class 2 vehicle
- Operating HIAB (lorry mounted crane) where required
- Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all loads are secure and comply with transport regulations
- Completing all delivery/collection paperwork accurately
- Performing daily vehicle and equipment checks and reporting defects
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Supporting yard duties when required
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- HIAB licence preferred (training may be considered for the right candidate)
- Minimum 2 years' driving experience
- Good customer service skills
- Reliable, hands-on, and a strong team player
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety
