Our very successful client is a National Food Manufacturer specialising in Bacon and Gammon (Pork). They urgently require Food Production Operatives to join their team located in Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds LS25.
Shifts: 7am – 7pm, Days Thursday to Saturday then Monday to Wednesday then off for 7 days. Normally 33 hours paid per week but plenty of overtime available so easily possible to work 44 hours per week.
Pay Rate: Days - £12.86 per hour
The Role - Food Production Operatives: Working with a chilled environment (5C-8C) you will be responsible for preparing, packing, sleeving and quality checking of food that is supplied into several major supermarkets. Some lifting may be involved within parts of this role. This can involve working on fast moving production lines and ensuring that you adhere to the necessary Health and Safety guidelines at all times. This is a role that has the potential of becoming long term as we have many cases whereby successful candidates receive permanent contracts at this client.
Note: Due to the location of this company and the shift times, having easy access to LS25 or your own form of transport is desirable.
Experience: Preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
