Pay Rate: £27,000 per annum
Position is available for an immediate start. We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Proman. In this fast-paced role, you'll act as the key contact for both agency workers and client managers, supporting the full recruitment lifecycle while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Here’s what you can expect to be doing:
- Providing advice and guidance onsite to all levels of management and being the first point of contact for all candidate queries.
- Involvement in general HR issues and queries, supporting grievance and disciplinary meetings.
- Supporting absence management processes, processing leavers and new starters associated paperwork.
- Attending weekly shop floor manager meetings.
- General administration duties, e.g., telephone answering, devising standard HR documents and letters etc.
- Handling and resolving candidate payroll queries.
- Building a long-term trusted relationship with the client and agency workers.
- Understanding clients’ requirements and ensuring candidates have the relevant experience and are recruited within the required time frame.
- Induct, assess and onboard all successful candidates.
- Managing the full recruitment process: placing and screening of adverts on relevant job boards and social media, conducting candidate interviews and assigning successful candidates to the role.

- Ability to interact with people face to face and over the phone to build relationships with candidates and clients.
- Excellent standard of spoken and written English.

- Active listening and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking, and always meeting deadlines.
- Competent in using Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
- Customer focused and able to deliver excellent service in a positive manner.
- Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicating effectively and responding with urgency to requests.
