Pay Rate: £14.19 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an On-Site Coordinator to be based at one of our key client's manufacturing facilities in Bamber Bridge. The client is a leading manufacturer of domestic and commercial boilers, and this role will play a key part in supporting the temporary workforce and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of onsite recruitment operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and approachable individual who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all agency workers on-site.
  • Conduct inductions and site tours for new starters.
  • Monitor attendance, lateness and absence levels.
  • Liaise with client management regarding staffing requirements and workforce planning.
  • Support recruitment activities including candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate personnel and compliance records.
  • Collate timesheets and attendance information for payroll processing.
  • Carry out welfare checks and return-to-work discussions where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, client requirements and health & safety procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with both agency workers and client representatives.
  • Produce regular reports relating to staffing levels, attendance and recruitment activity.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment, administration, customer service, workforce planning or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Confidence working within a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Professional and approachable manner.
  • Previous onsite recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
