Are you a hands-on individual with an eye for detail and a passion for precision? We are hiring a Press Operative to join a growing production team in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable work in a supportive manufacturing environment.
Location: Chesterfield, S41
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
First Aid Training Required
Your Role Will Include:
- Assembling frames and door components to specification
- Installing hardware such as hinges, locks, and glass
- Using hand and power tools to complete builds
- Working safely with composite materials
- Ensuring all products meet strict quality and dimensional standards
- Identifying and correcting defects during production
- Following all health and safety procedures while operating machinery and handling materials
What We Are Looking For:
- Practical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
- Comfortable working night shifts and using tools
- First Aid trained (essential)
