Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

Salary: Β£28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Some flexibility is required outside the clients peak period and covering holidays)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to be based at one of our key client's manufacturing facilities in Bamber Bridge. The client is a leading manufacturer of domestic and commercial boilers, and this role will play a key part in managing client relationships, ensuring service excellence, and supporting the successful delivery of recruitment solutions.

While this position will primarily focus on our flagship onsite account, the successful candidate will also be expected to provide account management support and cover for other client sites within the local area as required. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and commercially minded individual who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service across multiple client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop existing accounts, ensuring service delivery targets and KPIs are achieved.
  • Provide account management and operational support to additional client sites within the local area as required.
  • Conduct regular client visits, service reviews, and performance meetings.
  • Liaise with client management regarding workforce planning, staffing requirements, and recruitment activity.
  • Monitor workforce performance, attendance, and fulfilment levels to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Support recruitment activities including candidate attraction, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Produce regular management reports on staffing levels, recruitment activity, account performance, and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and add value to existing client partnerships.
  • Resolve client queries, concerns, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and client requirements at all times.
  • Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Recruitment, Customer Service, Workforce Planning, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Confidence working within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Professional, approachable, and customer-focused manner.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as travel between client sites will be required.
  • Previous experience managing recruitment accounts or onsite operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
